I put off addressing my severe periodontal needs because I was afraid of surgery and the disruption to my life. When I finally decided to begin, I found Dr Hadeed and Tracie and all my fears went away. Tracie became an advocate for my care and cost! Dr Hadeed won’t give up until he’s done everything he can to get me healthy again. I had some concerns with some gum recession, went to google and found Dr. Hadeed’s office.. I called and spoke to Tracy. Immediately met with such kindness and sweetness, and Scheduled an appointment within a few days. As soon as I walked in I was nervous, I met Dr. Hadeed and he immediately shook my hand and reassured me to not be nervous. Dr. Hadeed and Tracy did a complete exam and took the time with me and went over several options. Within a week I was scheduled for an upper quadrant graft. Dr. Hadeed along with Tracy and staff answered all my questions and put me at ease. The process and procedure went so well. Dr. Hadeed explained everything as he did the procedure and I was totally at ease and calm.. Afterwards Dr. Hadeed checked on me that same night calling and texting me to check on me.. it has now been 4 days after the procedure and everything has been excellent. Some minor pain and slight swelling. The whole time Dr. Hadeed has checked on me to ensure I am doing well.. Dr. Hadeed and Tracy feel like family with the level of concern and kindness they have shown me. I would recommend Dr. Hadeed and his staff! They are the absolute best! What an exceptional trio of Dr. Hadeed, Tracie, and Thalma – or rather, an exceptional family. From the moment I stepped into their practice, I felt embraced as part of their close-knit unit. When gum recession which I had ignored for too long became tender, I consulted with a well known periodontist in Friendship Heights who said he’d graft it with tissue carved from my palate, and did I have any questions. And charged me $200. Then friends recommended Dr. Hadeed and Tracie. After a no-charge consultation, Dr. Hadeed brought me in to his office, displayed my x- rays, and explained in detail his plan to make an incision to free up “donor” gum tissue from a neighboring location, reposition the tissue to partially cover the recession, then patch both spots with regenerative collagen membrane, rather than taking material from my palate. Since friends had reported that lingering palate sensitivity was the worst part of the procedure, even with a protective shield, I was relieved to learn there was an alternative. Dr. Hadeed demonstrated professionalism in his explanation, making sure I understood the plan perfectly. On the morning of the graft, Tracie calmed my nerves with soothing words and heartfelt warmth. During the procedure, she assisted as Dr. Hadeed skillfully repaired my gum recession, checking with me periodically as to how I was doing. After the graft, I had no pain, truly. Just some discomfort, and careful consumption of smoothies, soup, etc. I followed instructions, and a week later, the gum had healed nicely. Post-surgery follow-up via phone and texting was incredible. Dr. Hadeed saw me the very next day, then at one week, at two weeks, and at six weeks. Now, six weeks post-surgery, my gum looks and feels truly perfect. I am thrilled. Add me to the fan club!

I’m beyond impressed with everything that happened at my appointment. A relatively straightforward procedure kept uncovering more problems. Everyone was kind, gentle, attentive and, actually…fun. I will never go to another practice when I have dental problems or needs. I received an unplanned root canal, crown prep., and root Lengthening along with an unplanned bone graph - with no more discomfort than you experience after having a cavity filled. I kept waiting for pain and discomfort -but it never came. No matter what the procedure, there’s no one in the world I’d trust more. I just started going to see Dr. Hadeed & Tracie a week ago and in that short time they were able to identify, plan, treat and progress iteratively with feedback as to my next steps and treatment plan. They are just wonderful people to go see. Tracie did such a phenomenal job cleaning my teeth and doing the deep cleaning scaling of underneath the gums. She really took her time and gets in there to make sure she does a thorough job. Dr. Hadeed also did a great job numbing me up so the cleaning went smoothly. Even their Pina Colada numbing cream was excellent and helped. Plus you get the added bonus of hearing your favorite band while all this is happening in a very safe and clean environment. When you visit them, you don't just feel like the next patient in an assembly line of patients. There is a hospitality about everything they do as they remain professional and kind. I am so elated to have found Dr. Hadeed as my periodontist. I Had several experiences regarding my gums with pervious practitioners. The end result after spending thousands of dollars was no different in stopping the recessions. After I consulted with Dr. Hadeed, he listened to me and what I was concerned about and in spite of limitations he found a way to do the surgery so meticulously and masterfully that I am unable to demonstrate that with words. My experience with Dr, Hadeed was remarkable. I knew him to be outstanding before my trip to his Gaithersberg office. My first experience occurred in Bethesda where he explained, as a consultant, my problem. We talked several times and I was impressed with the time he took ridding me of my anxiety. He explained in great detail just what my problems were before my surgery. He makes a point of returning calls and and he never made me feel rushed. Just as importantly, he listens. He exhibits concern for the whole body and this is greatly appreciated, I am sure, by his senior patients. Tracie is fantastic. They worked so well together I became more and more relaxed being there. Tracie seemed to anticipate my needs and exhibited such a caring and friendly attitude during the procedure. It is immediately evident that she is well trained. They make a fantastic team. I got a warm feeling when I first arrived. There is even a warm and soothing effect by the office itself. Dr. Hadeed and Ms. Tracy (his assistant) are simply the best!! Dr. Hadeed was the only periodontal surgeon in the area (and I went to the others as well) who didn't try to dismiss me by referring me to other specialists. I had a failing implant and even though it was done about 12 years ago abroad with unknown abatement, he found a way to save it. I am very happy to have my implant recovered. Along with his professionalism in dental surgery, I would also like to acknowledge his way of treating patients with respect. He talks to you like to his equal and listens to your complaints and Internet search ideas instead of looking down and showing superiority like other dentists that I came across. If there is a dental surgeon who is more naturally gifted, more highly educated, better trained, and has more experience I would be very surprised. Dr. Hadeed performed two very complex extruding molar extractions like he was presenting a masterclass on the subject. And indeed it was a masterclass, because while he was performing the surgery, he explained exactly what he was doing, from the numbing to the extractions to the preserving the sinus membrane to the bone grafting to the final stitching. He made the entire surgery look very easy - for him. And no review of Dr. Hadeed would be complete without mentioning his wife and surgical assistant TRACIE, who is extremely knowledgeable and skilled, and knew exactly what the doctor needed before asking for it. They're very much a team - more like a well-oiled machine - and it was a marvel to behold. But TRACIE also assisted me the patient at the same time, reassuring me, and anticipating my questions: "your gonna feel slight pressure on your front teeth" - felt the slight pressure - "you might hear a slight crack, that's normal" - heard a slight crack, etc., like she has ESP or something. And finally, I have to mention Dr. Hadeed's excellent son, aspiring dental student CAMERON, who observed during the procedure and helped with post-op instructions. I felt taken care of by the entire Hadeed family, as if I too were a beloved member of the family. They knew I was nervous (had delayed this necessary surgery for at least ten years) and were incredibly compassionate and reassuring.
