Dr Peter Hadeed and Dental Assistant Tracie are a unique team, in perfect tune with the patient, each exceptionally skilled at his/her profession. Peter consulted unstintingly with my 82 year old husband's cardiologist prior to the surgery, acquainted himself with every aspect of his other health needs, patiently explained (and re-explained to two nervous elderly people!) articulately the details and reasons for the work that was required to a bring a full quadrant of dead root, bone damaged, gum decayed teeth and tissue back to health.. And then performed this delicate 2-1/2 hour surgery with compassion; excellence; state of the art equipment; PAINLESSLY without drugs, just numbing as he went; and when finished, carefully detailed an easy to follow typed, aftercare program. But my husband claims the best part was Tracie's tender ministering to his mouth, throat and lip comfort while both of them regaled him with humorous stories and warmth. It is 2 days later and amazingly, no pain! Dr Hadeed is a talented periodontist and together with Tracie, examples of two fine people dedicated to their service to their patients.

I cannot say enough kind things about Dr. Hadeed, Tracie, and Freda. I sought out help from Dr. Hadeed after learning I would need extensive periodontal work to be medically cleared for hip replacement surgery. They got me in the day after I called and conducted a thorough examination and explained the options. Once a decision was made, they got me in quickly. We did one side of the mouth at a time. I was nervous about the process before the first session. Tracie let me pick the music and she and Dr. Hadeed carefully explained each step as it was happening. Dr. Hadeed made sure I had enough numbing medication to be comfortable and he gladly supplemented it as needed. It was far less painful than I had thought. The best part was the follow up. I got texts throughout the evening and into the weekend from both Dr. Hadeed and Tracie to make sure I was ok. Dr. Hadeed was also very fair in his fee structure and mindful of the fact that my insurance covered next to none of the work. I cannot thank Dr. Hadeed, Tracie and Freda enough for making what could have been a terrible experience as professional and pleasant as possible.

Amazed!! I had been looking for a periodontist for quite some time and had even been to two other offices prior to finding Dr. Hadeed''s office right under my nose (around the corner from me). Which I know was not by accident. See, I had previously experienced an early life dental incident that left me traumatized and terrified of dentist ever since, and sadly my mouth reflected this. BUT that all changed the moment I stepped foot into Dr. Hadeed''s office. I felt immediate warmth and welcome from Freda at the front desk, and more of the same from Tracie (the Dental Hygienist) and Dr. Hadeed himself. So much so, that within two weeks time I underwent a full mouth cleaning and lower jaw osseous surgery with two wisdom teeth extractions. All with 1) genuine compassion for my earlier experience, 2) unrestricted time covering my specific prognosis/images, 3) gentleness, care and concern throughout the entire procedure and 4) personal follow-up text from both Tracie and Dr. Hadeed for several days following the procedure! My word to describe Dr. Hadeed & Staff: Godsend.

Dr. Hadeed and his Assistant, Tracy Lee, are simply amazing... they are an exceptional team! I was in need of having a major tooth extracted with suggested bone buildup in prep for an implant after the extraction. I was referred to Dr. Hadeed and he "personally" interacted with me via phone and text messages until I personally met him the day of the surgery. He even delayed my dental work to ensure that I could enjoy my Niece's graduation celebration in South Carolina... how beautiful and caring is that!! I am a 67 year old woman who has seen my fair share of dentists, not only in the D.C. metro area, but in the West Coast, Europe and Asia as well. Never before have I been compelled to write a review for any of the dentists I have seen over the years...until I was treated by Dr. Hadeed. I was referred to Dr. Hadeed for a dental implant by my long-time family dentist in Bethesda. From Day 1, I knew I had a good one. The time that Dr. Hadeed spent with me and the care that he exhibited in being sure that I understood the procedure and the options available to me was exemplary. So many times a dentist will just say, "This is what is wrong and this is what I'm going to do to fix it". End of story. Not Dr. Hadeed. He listened to me. My thoughts on what I wanted to achieve were important to him. That was part of my treatment plan. It did not matter if what I wanted was more difficult to achieve - he found a way a do it. I was carefully monitored every time I underwent a procedure. I was given his personal cell phone number and was instructed to call if I experienced any difficulties or discomfort. How many dentists will give out their personal cell phone number? With other dentists I would have to call the office, explain the problem to the answering service, and usually wait several hours for a call back. I never even had to call Dr. Hadeed. He always called me to check up on me to be sure that I was doing o.k. Dr. Hadeed's staff is just as caring and understanding. Due to my extensive travel schedule, fitting me into his busy schedule was not always easy. But they always found a way to accommodate my schedule, something I very much appreciated. My insurance was billed promptly, and when my insurance company initially denied my claim for a dental implant, Dr. Hadeed and his staff didn't just leave me hanging there. They provided me with letters and other documentation required to request a reversal of the insurance company's decision. You will not be treated like "just another clog" by Dr. Hadeed and his staff. You will be treated with professionalism and individual care. This is not an "implant factory". I have just completed my treatment plan and I couldn't be any happier with the results that Dr. Hadeed helped me achieve. My implant is positioned beautifully. The implant crown which Dr. Hadeed had made for me looks like my natural tooth, not just in color and shape but also in it's placement with my natural teeth. I would recommend Dr. Hadeed's professional skills without hesitation. And just as importantly, not only is he one of the most skilled dentists I have ever encountered, he is also the most kind and caring dentist I have ever had the pleasure of being treated by.

Dr. Hadeed takes the time to carefully explain all the procedures that he performs in lay terms so that his patients are well aware of what to expect. It is abundantly clear that he has many years of experience and knows what he is doing. He and his staff also do everything possible to put me at ease prior to and during procedures.
